Great job, I love lathe work now even though I did it for a job for quite a few years and got sick of it I always keep the parting tool short as possible and I don't know if you did but lock saddle and snug in locking screw on cross slide and lock compound to give ridgity You might have done all that but I missed the setup as someone was talking to me during that part And hey old saying you may know but we learn by our mistakes, if ya not making mistakes ya not learning

You fixed my Kitchenaid problem

I just did the what you did by thinking it needed to be screwed all the way in! Followed your advice and things are looking totally amazing now! I got my mixer for cheap because of the giggle, I knew I could fix it myself... And now I have what feels like a brand new kitchen aid for $100!

Makes sense now. Got a bunch of gears and had no idea how to use em.

Having the head come too low bottoms out the mixing tools. Having the head too high leaves too much unmixed material at the bottom of the bowl. To find the perfect height, drop a dime in the bowl and turn the machine on at low speed with the beater installed. If the dime moves all around the bowl, the head is too low. If every couple of turns of the beater moves the dime a little distance, the height is perfect. If the dime doesn't move at all, the head is too high.

You have saved my KitchenAid. The only reason I’ve put up with the banging for so long is I couldn’t justify replacing a machine that for all intents and purposes worked - I just had to hold the head down when doing heavy duty mixing. I’ve had it for 16 years, and I don’t remember it ever not bouncing around. It’s fair to say, it now works better than it ever has. You are THE BEST.

Im new to 1911, so I bought a Tisas nightstalker in 9mm, i had all kinds of problems. Long story short, It came from the factory with extractor and ejector for 45 acp. I changed for the appropriate parts, and now just works like a champ.

This appears to be the Breech Lock Challenger. Lee Classic Cast now has different ram, different spent primer outlet, no plate on the side, symmetric mounting holes L and R are same distance from the front edge of the benchtop.

I have never been in such a big RUSH while "reloading" that I can't take the few seconds necessary to "unscrew" a die ! It boggles my mind to think that some one, some where thought this method to "save a few seconds" while doing something as critical as reloading, was even necessary 🤔!!!!!

get carbide tooling and a heavier lathe don’t stick your tool out so much silver chips that turn blue when you are running carbide tooling is fine NOT when you’re running high speed steel
